We had heard about Battleborn and its friendly shooter aspirations in 2014 when Gearbox announced it as a mix between MOBA and FPS. Unfortunately, by the time of its launch in 2016, we were already unsure of the location left for another team shooter.
Despite the beating of Overwatch in the market with various artistic influences, inspired by the gameplay and a creative cinematic opening, Battleborne could not rise above the rest and moved into a free-to-play setup in 2017.
Once again, despite offering its free multiplayer shooter action before Fortnite, a Battle Royale mode was added, Battleborn couldn’t keep up, and in this game-as-a-service era, that meant service I will not have a very long time.
The game’s servers will remain active, and the game will remain playable until January 2021. However, after the servers become inactive, Battleborn will no longer be playable. To know more, please see this detailed FAQ: https://t.co/wos2fH2xhv

We are very proud of the work that has gone into the game and would like to express our deep appreciation to all fans for their support. We will continue to provide updates on the title’s sunset when appropriate.
We first caught Battleborn’s air and its well-disposed shooters in 2014 when Gearbox reported it as a mix between MOBA and FPS. Sadly, when it ran in 2016, we were unsure at the point, which was the location left for another group shooter. Despite overblown beatings and an educated start to life, Watchorn did not surpass the rest and moved to an allowed play-play arrangement in 2017, to Overwatch with altered aesthetic effects.
Regardless of offering its free multiplayer shooter activity before Fortnite, Battleborn mode was included, Battleborn could not keep up, and this game-as-a-period administration meant that the administration was prolonged will not be.
